 Field Operations Manager – Manage operations teams responsible for execution of pilot scale field tests of the GreenFuel process at domestic and international customer sites. Manage multiple integrated engineering and biology field operation teams, each responsible for the execution of pilot-scale demonstrations of the GreenFuel process at customer sites.  The pilot system comprises flue gas distribution systems, algal bioreactors, dewatering systems, water treatment equipment, water recycle hardware and an analytical laboratory. Typical pilot scale demonstrations are expected to run for 4-6 months at each site. Work with Process Development and Engineering teams to design, plan, execute and report back on field based test programs. Develop and manage a number of teams that will undertake the biological testing, equipment performance testing, data analysis and data reporting required to meet the technical objectives of the test program at each customer location.  Take the lead role in developing the operational strategies and standard operating protocols for commercial-scale facilities.

Requirements include a Master’s degree or equivalent in a science discipline, Engineering or related field and five years of experience in the job offered or related field of science or engineering, or, in the alternative; a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and seven years of experience. 

Special Requirements: Experience must include: designing and executing research programs monitoring algal productivity and water-chemistry; perform the design, construction, commissioning or operation of micro-algal cultivation systems; project management.  Must be proficient in Word and Excel.  Approximately 50% travel required, with approximately 25% domestic and 25% foreign.

Job Site Varies

Salary $75,000/year.  40 hours/wk.
