GreenFuel has successfully installed its systems at gas, coal,
and oil burning facilities.
The three phases of a high-yield algae farm system serve to
| |
determine on-site conditions and suitable species of algae;
minimize risk and ensure economic viability; and
optimize the engineering scale.
|
First, a Feasibility Assessment Unit (FAU)
is mobilized to the host facility to evaluate site conditions and identify an algal
species tailored to the
target product. Using the results from FAU experiments, a
larger
Engineering Scale Unit (ESU) is
deployed to investigate the potential of full-scale farming. The last step is a
Commercial installation
which profitably recycles flue gases
into biofuels and feed.
